WHATIFTHEWORLD gallery is proud to present Material Echos, the first in a series of exhibitions taking place on the historic Prinsengracht in central Amsterdam. _ The project aims to provide a gallery platform for contemporary artists working from the African continent, with a focus on providing a nuanced context for the presentation and understanding of contemporary art from southern Africa. _ The participating artists include Stephané Edith Conradie (Namibia), Asemahle Ntlonti (South Africa) Sthenjwa Luthuli; (South Africa), Ben Orkin (South Africa), Talia Ramkilawan (South Africa), Athi-Patra Ruga (South Africa), Chris Soal (South Africa) _ Material Echos will run from 29th October 2022 to 18 November 2022.
