This image was inspired by Sarah Lucas’ famous egg photo, but here within the context of motherhood (cabbage is soothing for mastitis) is @virginia.rand.dewitt (also an artist) in her backyard shortly before the birth of her son. The image is part of a larger body of work currently under the working title “The Body Is Not A Thing” and has been featured on @photovogue as part of the “PhotoVogue Fashion 100” which will show in a video installation in Milan (2022).
