The ‘Summer of Love’ as it might be called, perhaps because it is the first summer we can freely move around without restrictions, PCR tests or social distancing. Who knows. Our cover story echoes the hippy summers of the 60s - a time of free and experimental spirit where our desires for excitement and adventure are reflected through the calm and timeless nature of the colour palette. Recalling the appetite for freedom and peace we need today, often manipulated by the technology we have access to, blinding us to those unfortunate episodes we are experiencing such as increasing the cost of living, the lack of honour of our politicians, the dating app shopping, the power that Corporatocracy is having over our lives, the battles in countries like Ukraine, Lebanon, Yemen... Times in which we should aim for a change within us like back in the 60s, spreading more love and trust and the courage to listen to our hearts, to turn down pretentiousness with a tongue-in-cheek outlook, where simplicity is the real luxury and a smile the real value. This summer enables us to make the combination we want, fashion rules no longer apply allowing us to discover new realities, genuine styles and spontaneous attitudes.
