upcoming college and high school seniors!! save this for future reference so you’re prepared! here are a few tips i’ve picked up that I wish I would’ve known! 💌🎀🫧 1. Plan ahead! College grads- Mid August-Mid October is the best time for December grads! Late March-Late April is the best time for May grads! This is when the sun will be out and grass is green! ☺️🌿 High school grads- The summer before your senior year is honestly the best time! You’ll have those photos for throughout the year and the weather will be ideal! Photographers won’t be as busy with college seniors but you could do it during the school year as well, just easier to plan! Also know how long it will take to get your photos back! Ask your photographer before booking so you aren’t scrambling! 2. Get creative with your shoot! Use this time to show off your style and personality! Wear an outfit that you love! There’s no rules. Bring props like flowers, an instrument, pets, confetti, etc! Let your photographer know if you have ideas! They love switching it up sometimes and letting you just go!!! 3. Take advantage! These photos can be used for so many different things! You can get a linked-in profile picture or a recruitment headshot ;) You’ll be surprised with how many times you’ll be asked to attach a professional headshot to something senior year! Which is also why the earlier the better as well! ☺️ 4. Bring a friend! Having someone there to make you laugh and hold your things is the best! It makes things run smoothly and helps ease nerves! 5. Bring essentials! Here is a packing list of things that my clients sometimes find helpful! -Extra pair of comfy shoes! (If you’re wearing heels this helps or if you’re walking a distance in a field!!) -Hairspray -Shorts for under dresses if you’re changing outfits -Dress tape -Makeup for touch ups -Large tote bag to carry it all Comment below any questions or tips you may have! ☀️🎀🫐
