Moving through time, the dust clears and a strong community-led era dawns, created by powerful figures such as Nipsey Hustle. Finally, we’re transported into a future for Crenshaw where the recently constructed light rail line has paved the way for new development. But despite the improved infrastructure, questions remain. Rapid change and gentrification have erased part of the cultural identity of this historic street. How can the future better help the needs and aspirations of this vibrant community?
