6 years ago, we began a dream. At first, it was just an idea – and a considerable amount of talking. We couldn’t just sit back and allow our passion for making delicious pork rinds pass us by. We gave samples of our homemade porky bites to friends and family, to make sure we were on to something. Plus, who doesn’t love to give their tasty treats to loved ones? We were met with encouraging compliments and asking us to make more rinds. And that is exactly what we did. We made more, and more. It hit us - we realized our dream might be more than something intangible. Something possible, with the support of each other, we created E&T Porky Bites. We have put in the hours – the behind-the-scenes legwork. We did jobs we didn’t even know we’d need to do. Marketing, brand creation, talking with reporters and stores, and creating content for our social media. We quickly found out it is more than just making the pork rinds and experimenting with different flavors – which we love doing. At times, we felt overwhelmed and unsure if we could continue. Both working our full-time jobs, having a family, and a household to run – it is stressful. However, we weren’t meant to give up, and we won’t. We are grateful to each and every one of our friends, family, customers, and community. We are also grateful to our one and only E&T team member/Daniel Toomer who’s been with us a for quite a while now. For everyone who believes in our vision and our product.
