⬇️Why is this ship disembarking a big deal?⬇️ It’s loaded with 23,000 metric tons of wheat (that’s enough to feed 1.5 million people for a month!). it’s the first ship to be loaded with humanitarian grain from #Ukraine, Which was a major exporter of staple foods before the war. The grain shipment that docked this week in #Djibouti will support WFP’s lifesaving operations in #Ethiopia, where an extreme drought and conflict are creating deadly conditions.
