It’s not about the hustle and bustle, but about taking time out to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas- being together with the ones you love. . One of my most favorite traditions with my kids is our annual gingerbread party. While the kids are at school, I turn our dining room into a gingerbread workshop. When they come home, I get to sit back and watch them create their masterpieces. . This year I used @mackenziechilds holiday collection and boy did I have some fun! Mackenzie-Childs is known for their hand-painted and whimsical pieces, which tied in fabulously with this years design. From the gorgeous gold check flatware to the Dash Away dessert plates— all of which are unique and unlike anything else I’ve ever used. .
