POSTCARD PROJECT is officially here! The idea came about when I was in Puerto Rico. I went to a museum and bought the cheapest thing to take back with me as memorabilia. It was a postcard and when I got back home, I posted it on my wall and thought “Damn I really bought a piece of art with me all the way back home.” Post cards have obviously always been a thing but being able to share photos that I took with a bunch of people just seemed like a great idea. With everything being digital these days, trying to bring back the essence of physical art, especially when it comes to photography, is really important to me. Being in the darkroom, making prints, finding the right paper and etc. are all apart of the process; and getting that final product in hand always feels so ethereal.
