Struggling to get voluminous hair with your lace front? I know me too 😵. So I tried a long time used technique that works wonders!!! Here are the details:
1. Use a heat protector on your human hair unit. I love @moroccanoil perfect defense can be used with heat up to 450°! Though I strongly suggest keeping your tools under 350° to keep your wig safe from damage.
2. Use a big barrel curling iron or wand. I prefer a 1" to 1.5" inch barrel for extra volume. After previously mentioned set to 350°.
3. Next, section your hair going from top to bottom and curl each 1" section. Gently slide the hair off the iron and wrap it around a large self-grip hair roller. Sometimes I use metal alligator clips to keep hair in place. Do this to the whole wig. *bonus tip: I like to style my wig on a canvas block gead. Mine is Gex brand from Amazon*
4. After all sections are curled, use a light to medium hair spray. Any brand works! I switch up every time I need a new bottle 😁. Let the hair cool and use the holding spray for at least 10-15 mins.
5. Gently remove the rollers from bottom to top, finger twirling away from your face as you go. Remove the top rollers backwards away from you face as well. Use a wide tooth comb to brush out the curls (they may be extra bouncy 🤪). Top off with a little more medium hold hairspray.
6. BOOM BABY! 💥 💥 💥 You've got that 90's supermodel volume. Rock it accordingly!
