Two short years with these people will never ever be nearly enough!! I can never truly express how greatful I am that I was able to go somewhere I’m so sad to leave, while also feeling so lucky to have met people that are so hard to say goodbye to. Leaving home and going 2,445 miles away to somewhere I didn’t know a single soul was the greatest chance I ever took. The people I met in my first week immediately welcomed me arms wide open and made me feel at home. And as time went on, there somehow seemed to be an endless supply of amazing and genuine people to meet!! I’ve made friends that feel like home and who I know will be by my side forever; I can’t express my gratitude for the whole-hearted acceptance and love they’ve given me. Oxford, Mississippi will always have the biggest place in my heart because of the people it brought me. The fact that we’re gonna have to adjust to FaceTime calls instead of walking down the hall or a quick drive to each others houses is something hard to fathom. I don’t know how I’m going to do life so far away from everyone... lots of visits to come next year and every year after that!!! <3 THANK YOU JESUS!!!
