This album was released in October and it’s an incredible piece of work by an inspiring artist. @joycrookes was literally a Joy to work with and writing the strings as a collaboration with her and @blueymay pushed me in a direction I was excited about. The orchestral Session at Abbey Road Studio 2 was a big deal for all the musicians involved as it was the first time we were able to be together after the first torturous lockdown. It was socially distanced which is hard when you rely on the proximity of the other strings for a more complete sound and also for intonation.
