As a man, my primary responsibility is to care for myself before I can effectively provide for and help others. If you want to change the trajectory of your life, start by changing yourself. Stop being the victim in every situation. The answers you seek require further exploration. It is probably the heaviest thing you will ever have to pick up. But weak men come a dime a dozen.
