Over the last few weeks there has been an abundance of love but also an abundance of loss. Living within these extremities has been nothing short of difficult and at times I’ve harboured guilt for feeling joy amongst so much sadness. I’m no stranger to burnout, so after recognising the signs of feeling overwhelmed and on the cusp, decided some time in the Highlands with no signal and no screens was what was needed. I took a silent moment to say goodbye to all those who have moved on to the next realm and now feeling much more at ease with life.
