today was my last day at my job and it’s just been a lot of rushing around tying up loose ends, saying goodbyes but i was just in my kitchen unloading the dishwasher and ‘marcel’ by hers came on and i just looked up from the sink at our home and violet’s things and everything imperfectly in its place and i started to cry the happiest tears because so many moments - mundane days, heartbreak, wild nights, new beginnings and bittersweet endings have led me here. i am just so happy to be here at 10 something on a tuesday night cleaning my kitchen while violet + sunny sleep soundly 💗
