motherhood. the most unexplainable journey. both physically and emotionally exhausting. yet the most important and fulfilling role it is to be someone’s everything. unlocking strength that I didn’t know I had. feeling things deeper and more intentionally than I ever have before. feeling disconnected from people but yet connected within my home. eyes that are heavy from sleepless nights, but a heart that is overflowing. the days seem so long, but the years are going by so fast. All the disruptions, accidents, and inconveniences are being used to in fact shape me and form me into the woman I am supposed to be. the daily opportunities to choose selfishness or selflessness. The stillness of the night breastfeeding, my mind is quiet and there is peace. the craziness during the days running around creating memories that we will remember forever. everyday is not just another day, every decision is creating her childhood. none of this we take lightly but yet we have to choose to be flexible, to flow, to slow down. the sweetness, the joy, and the significance of a mother is wild to me. finding purpose in my role as a mother to Selah in this season 🤍🥥🐚
