Story time ➡️ When I was a tiny pluck, I wanted to be a vet tech 🐶 In high-school, I wanted to be an ECE (😅) but I ended up taking Makeup Artistry in post secondary thinking I wanted to be a makeup artist. When I was introduced to eyebrow shaping at 16, I didn’t consider it anything beyond an add-on service. Then at 19 I got my first job as a brow artist in Toronto’s first concept salon. This opened my eyes to the world of brows and the importance of them 👁👄👁 At this time, my artistry certificate was still the goal but by the end of it I had a new passion-✨eyebrows✨ Jeeeze! How do I tell my parents that the thing I went to school for was not where I wanted to be? I had unlocked a new talent but it wasn’t “much of a career” they said 🙅‍♀️ I’ll spare you the sap and tears 💦 as we fast forward to today ⏩ now 16 years in the brow industry. Fuelled by passion and inspired by the likes of @kelleybakerbrows and @damonerobertsbrows, who made their own space in such a niche industry 💁‍♀️ If I could go back in time I’d tell little me: 💫 not to worry 💫 keep doing what fuels your soul 💫 don’t let others discourage you 💫 and lastly - LITERALLY ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! I mean ANYTHING! 🌈 The support of my family, friends and clients has carried me when my self doubt was at its heaviest.
