About to the turn the corner into off season with one more race at @icemancomethtcmi! While ripping through the Vasa trail this week, I thought to myself, what a difference a year makes! Last year at this event, I crashed early and ended up solo TT’ing my way back to the front group. But the legs were donzo when the moves started in the final miles and I rolled in for 7th. Not bad for my first MTB event on a borrowed old school 2x bike. I’m excited to see what a year of learning has done for me as I enter this weekend. Either way, I’m still riding a high from my win at @bigsugargravel and hungry for another chance to line up and do what I love.
