Happy Friday from Yoko Ono's "Wish Tree" (2007)! Relax for a spell to the wind rustling between hundreds of paper wish tags and sunlit leaves. During the summer, thousands of visitors write down their wishes and tie them to the tree's branches. These wishes are eventually collected by Hirshhorn staff and sent to join more than one million others at Ono’s "Imagine Peace Tower" in Reykjavik, Iceland as part of her global art installation. @YokoOno's "Wish Tree" (2007) is currently open daily to written wishes, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the @Hirshhorn's Sculpture Garden through Labor Day.
