Writing about friendship is one of my favorite topics and has been a source of inspo for a lot of my scripts. It’s something about creating sisterhood and choosing who I want in my characters’ life that I love. Who’s for her and who ain’t?! I love friends who challenge each other, who are vulnerable with one another, and who will be there when things get messy. I also love building conflict and figuring out how characters will overcome it. That’s the real test of character (and the fun in writing!): seeing how someone responds under pressure.
