Honoured to be apart of this new book DANCER L’IMAGE @balletnationaldemarseille @la.horde @alicegavinservices Dance is one of the most exciting art forms for me. To capture it is almost a necessity due to its ephemerality. Some would say that a still image would be a death of a dance... but I would say that they almost need each other. Here ^ we explored the contradiction of beauty and violence in a battle. Love the way dance can be a place where you can act out and try to understand life in ways you can not in reality. Aggression is a feeling we are little aloud to feel in modern culture so it was very exciting for me to experience this through @la.horde ‘bodies and movements. @laetitiagimenez @natsumiebiko @moiruki @hugo_villard @alexa.horgan @melissaarras Really excited to get my hands on this archive.
