Learning to say NO has always been hard for me. I’ve always wanted to please people and the thought of disappointing someone would just crush me. So a lot of times I would accept even though I was tired. Busy. Or even not interested. Understanding that it’s okay to be selfish and not satisfy everyone. It’s SELF-CARE! You deserve to say no without feeling guilty for anything. Learning to say no is a great preventative to mental Illness, and exhaustion. Learning to say no has giving me balance and a better quality of life. There are a ton of books on Saying No. I recommend reading if feeling the same way. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk. ✌🏾
