Right in the middle, big smile, that guy with the ball. RFM, @bigrahh, Ryan Manning... Like so many others in our community I quickly became family with that guy in the middle and his whole family when I moved up to Vermont years back. That’s just the way they were, but when Ryan and his twin brother Connor brought me into their family my whole world changed. I had a crew to ride with. These guys were (and continue to be) pillars in the East Coast snowboard community and beyond, and they brought me in and changed my life in doing so. Over the weekend Ryan was injured in an accident and suffered a severe neck and spinal cord injury. He’s currently in ICU following surgery, in good hands, and amongst the best family. With all positivity towards Ryan’s recovery, this is a life changing event for him, his wife Maryse and his daughters.
