Today? They only had strawberry or mint-chip ice cream available. So I opted for strawberry ice cream on a classic cinnamon sugar churro bun. The ice cream was a big mess and fail. It wasn’t hot at all when I got it at 11 AM (upper 60s, low 70s), but the ice cream was way too soft and melted almost immediately. I got exactly one bite before it melted and made a puddle, leaving me with strawberry cream soaked churro buns. The churro buns didn’t feel hot either. It was kind of a big letdown. I know how good it was before with hot churro buns and better quality ice cream (the strawberry was pretty soft from the get go). I felt like I wasted my money. You win some you lose some.
