it’s obviously embarrassing to date someone who’s a loser....i think we can all agree on that. and it’s amazing that being single is finally seen as empowering, not pitied but somewhere along the way, we’ve started glorifying independence to the point that connection feels like a threat. relationships are healthy. we need them. being in a relationship doesn’t mean it becomes your whole life. there’s still space for your career, friendships, travel, and personal growth. and if your partner doesn’t support that, then they’re simply not your person. while we’re celebrating autonomy, loneliness and mental health struggles keep climbing, and that’s worth paying attention to.
