I had been highly anticipating Novae Vanilla by @atelierdesors, and it did not disappoint! This is such a gorgeous vanilla that differs from any others in my collection, and I have been loving wearing it the past week. At first sniff, I get a very realistic and natural vanilla bean note. It is so edible without being overtly sweet. As it wears, it transforms into a bit more of a spicy and unique vanilla musk. There is a sort of luxe cashmere vibe that makes this feel very expensive and warm. The mimosa in this definitely adds a soft powdery facet, while the minerals give it a ✨je ne sais quoi✨ somewhere between a spice and a musk. Setting it next to Lune Feline, I feel like they are sisters with totally different personalities. They come from the same family, but this is a gem of its own.
