Here are some basic key foundations that I’ve found to work well while adding dimension & depth/taking someone from blonde to dark. — Diagonal back sectioning. — Rotate every other foil with a chunkier weave. — Not bring the lowlight all the way through the ends in the front sections around the face. Stop half way and taper diagonal back towards and into the ends. — Lowlight with intention. Keep in mind how much brightness your client wants to maintain and where they want to see it. Every foil matters. — Over saturate. — Fill the hair with what’s been taken out in formulation. No lightening was done in the transformation of this photo (:
