To know my Gma Pat was to love her. It is hard to speak of her in the past tense, but here we are. The impact she has had on every single person she encountered was unmatched. She knew how to make everyone feel important and cared for. She was my best friend, confidant, first NYC roommate, fashion consultant, travel buddy, and wine tasting partner. The hole in my heart will never be filled, but she is free from suffering. I can sleep better knowing she is finally dancing and drinking wine with her true love, my Gpa Lenny. The world needs more Gma Pats. She could easily turn anyone’s day from bad to great and just loved to laugh. She truly knew how to enjoy life. She was the most generous, gracious, and selfless human I have ever known. While death is natural, it is never easy. I am lucky to be 35 and have had so many amazing memories with my Grandma. She will forever remain my best friend. I love you to the moon and beyond Gma Pat! And I promise to always live my life to fullest and be thankful for every moment I ever spent with you.
