Looking through my gossip websites I spotted a picture of Queen Letizia on vacation with the family in Mallorca wearing espadrilles. Nothing unexpected here as espadrilles originated in Spain and still a very popular shoe in the country and around the world during the summer months. But as fashion cycle trends go, the style hasn’t been in “fashion” for a while. Am I right? Or maybe not super desirable besides the @chanel flat ones. The last pair I owned was in 2012, registered here thanks to @thesatorialist. But Queen Letizia made me want to try the style again?! Maybe those legs sold me the idea.
