One last post about my Beloved Pastor, the "right" Reverend Calvin Butts. These are pictures of probably his last public protest: March 2021, there was a Social Justice March, which started at Convent Avenue Baptist Church, moving downhill on145th Street. There were many representatives from the Black Faith Community marching alongside each other. I'd experienced this moment with him many, many MANY times. I need to send these pictures to my beautiful Sister Gilda Squire, ( @gnsquire ), as she is one of a ministry that preserves the @abyssinianbc Archives and Legacy. The group were acknowledged today during our Worship Service, and we are forever grateful. Thank you Gilda. 🙏🏾
