Went back down south (to Nashville!) for a few days & did some eating: @cityhousenashville for their Sunday Supper where the chefs experiment and mainly do r&d, serving up new, off-menu dishes weekly. @crievehallbagelco for bagels that (dare I say) battle NY bagels... And a homemade sandwich that was the icing on the cake.
