Full Circle ⭕️ . Over 10 years ago @kanyakingcbe gave me the me the opportunity to intern @moboawards, I presented on the red carpet, produced regular blogs for the website and helped organise world class events. Let’s just say she grew me in the world of entertainment. . Kanya’s passion for elevating the Black community has rubbed off on me! Hence why all the mentorship programmes, events and training we do @globalpurposeenterprise exists to move Black people forwards. . To know that I would reach out to her a couple of months ago! And she would not only be receptive but ready! To @mobolise has been highly motivating and inspiring. . If you knew her story as a mixed race woman living in Britain at a time that wasn’t so friendly and her resilience has brought her to the top of the entertainment game, where she has opened doors for the likes of Stormzy and many more lol you would stand in awe! . Now we get get to chill at amazing establishments like @oakleycourt and @sohohouseuk while we strategise and execute a partnership that will see us help more people from our community elevate! . I want to say a big thank you to @uklabour MP @dawnbutlerbrent !!! If any of you get to sit down with Dawn your life will change!! I asked a power question (I hope she doesn’t mind me saying) I asked “What is the one word you are living by this year?” And both Kanya and Dawn said at the same time “Conquer”. That word was enough for me!! I put my picante down and just breathed that word in lol. . I’m grateful to God for this full circle story and the greater impact we can have as we join together!
