Last Friday, ten dealers in our area (Area South/Central) were selected to bring their Porsche Restoration Challenge cars to Porsche headquarters in Atlanta for judging. Awards were given for each region within our area, and then a final award for overall area winner. The other dealers in our area brought out some amazing restorations, which made for some really stiff competition. In the end, our 1989 911 Turbo restoration project received not only the top award for our region, but also took the overall win for Area South/Central. Our car will now head up to Sports Car Together Fest at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Sept. 2-4), to compete against two other restorations, one from Area West and one from Area East, for the national championship title. We are honored with the opportunity to represent Area South/Central up there in Indiana, and we hope to bring the title home for not just us, but for all of Porsche Area South/Central. #LetsGoAreaSouthCentral Another quick note, we’d like to congratulate the team at @porschelouisville for their People’s Choice win last weekend.
