#NEWS On November 2nd (Wed) - 3rd (Thu), a demonstration and lecture by Park Dae Sung were held at AVA Gallery & Art Center and the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College. These events, held in conjunction with the solo exhibition Park Dae Sung: Ink Reimagined, which opened on September 24, were even more meaningful with the participation of many audiences who showed great interest in Korean art and Korean Ink Painting. In particular, the book Park Dae Sung: Ink Reimagined (University of Washington Press, 2022) has recently been published on this US tour occasion. This research book, written by seven scholars in the United States, is significant as a first attempt to summarize the world of Park's work and the esthetic of Hankukhwa (Korean Ink Painting) from abroad. After his solo exhibitions at LACMA, at CGIS, Harvard University and at the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, Park Dae Sung plans to present his work to audiences again next fall at the Charles B. Wang Center, Stony Brook University, and at the University of Mary Washington.
