I have a lot of love for Crate St James Street 🧡 Run by some of the genuinely nicest people in Walthamstow, these guys really believe in what they do. The team make a HUGE effort to create a fun, supportive & inclusive environment through the businesses that call it home, & the plethora of events that take place throughout the week. These pop-up events ensure budding local businesses are able to test the waters & try new formats to see what works, & we get access to loads of fun stuff - win win! Some examples are @creative_biscuit who pop in every third Wednesday evening of the month for adults, and every third Sunday for kids for pottery painting. @stolen_table & @hotgossipcomedy have regular comedy nights - the latter featuring an all-female line-up. @wordsouluk and @proudmary1984 host spoken word & drag bingo nights respectively. There's pay what you can health & fitness classes such as yoga by @kinaesthetic.studio & @leam_yoga & HappyHiit by @caliberry_sweats, as well as fun activities such as @jivemetothemoon, @bollyxwithmevy, & other classes such as @taichibalance, Baby Ballet with @elds.ballet and Self Defence. Crate also run community days & markets too 🛍 And that's just the events! There are many small businesses that reside at @cratesjs, featuring food and drink, such as @baggioburger, @greenchoy, @islandstyle_chef, pizza from the @italianbakery_e17 and @thegreengrill.
