The National Steering Committee on the Implementation of the Alternative Justice System (AJS) officially commenced a five-day training and CAP development session at Palm Oasis, Garissa County, from 6th to 10th May, 2025. The session was officially opened by Garissa County Secretary, Mr. Mohamud H. Mursal, who reaffirmed the county’s dedication to promoting accessible justice through community-driven frameworks. Also in attendance was Hon. Mahad Hirola, the Chair of Chief Officers, whose presence underscored the importance of interdepartmental collaboration in advancing the AJS agenda.
