DOUMS • this connection is pretty special. I met Doums in December 2018, when Népal invited me to perform "150cc" with him at the Machine du Moulin Rouge, in Paris. the way these 2 welcomed me... man. I've felt like we knew each other forever. I've felt like they actually watched and followed me making music since I was a little kid. it felt like home. so when it was my turn and I started planning my (first) headline show, I had to call Doums to perform "150cc" with me as a tribute for our brother. during my show soundcheck, I saw someone coming in and feeling the song I was performing. he looked so proud, and I didn't know who that was. he waves at us, I wave back still not knowing who that was. then I go off stage and I recognize Doums, under his mask and hood. I was so happy to see him man, it's been sooooo long. we all went backstage 'cause the audience started coming in. fast forward I was here, ready to hop on stage, then I started having a conversation with Doums. that was one of the most touching convos I had in a while, it was all love and genuine respect, everything I always felt being around them. I don't even know if I should talk about that part but.. I could feel both of us holding back our tears throughout the whole convo, because of the importance of the moment and 'cuz we were missing an important member of the family too. hugged my brother, left for my dressing room. then all of a sudden, broke down in tears. it happened 5 minutes before I hopped on stage. it was quite hard to perform 150cc without the G, but thank God you were here to carry me throughout the whole song big bro. thank you Doums for always showing me extra love everytime I see you. shout out to all the family too: @hamodeayy, @diabityler, @vidjistratega, @sheldragon, @alphawann, Nekfeu, @75esession. to all of you: you might not know it, but even if I just had a one-minute conversation or a full one with y'all, the respect you always gave to me means so much.
