SURREAL SKIN 🖤 @makeupbymario As I’m sure you all know, Mario has hands down become one of my favorite brands. His products simply work for me in terms of performance and wearability - they truly are things I reach for on a daily basis. The Surreal Skin Foundation, well she’s no different. It’s STUNNING. The formula stretches really well covering your full face with just one pump. It gives a nice medium coverage, evening tone and creating a smooth base but still allows for freckles to peak through and needing a little extra something for blemishes. And the finish… nothing short of radient. I however would not call this a dewy foundation. While the mica in this does add luminosity to the skin, the formula itself isn’t extremely emollient. It’s sets down, doesn’t lift to the touch and while I do need a 6-hour blot in the tzone, that’s no different than any other non matte foundation in my collection - it is more than normal for my skin type. It truly is one of the prettiest, skin like foundations especially when captured on film or photos. I simply feel pretty when I am wearing this. If this has been on your radar I highly recommend snagging a sample from Sephora to see if this works for you.
