🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 The Supreme Court has just overturned Roe v. Wade, opening the door total-abortion bans across the country and showing deep disregard for the lives, health, and rights of our communities. We know that even with Roe v. Wade in place, clinics struggled to stay open and access to abortion remained difficult for too many people to access, and too many people were criminalized for their pregnancy outcomes. Today, the floor has fallen out from under us all. We are in the midst of a human rights and burgeoning public health crisis. This is heart-breaking and devastating news and there is so much we still don't know legally. We do know that this decision is just the beginning. We know independent clinics will continue to do whatever it takes to make sure people get the care they need -- but it’s going to take all of us to make true access a reality. As clinics figure out what this decision means for them, follow the lead of abortion providers and abortion funds.
