Have you ever heard a tree grow?... Does it just appear? Today, I turn 33 years old and I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. People say they can notice it just by looking at me. But its really the things that people can’t see. That didn’t happen overnight. It took dark days to show me that Sunnier days were ahead. It took friends and family watering me with love and support. I had to uncomfortably shed leaves to prepare for different seasons of my life. And I had to keep growing with broken branches (my foot) ... most importantly I had to do it without people hearing it.
