I started running my sophomore year of high school just to stay in shape for soccer, but I had no idea it would completely change my life. During COVID, when everything felt uncertain and overwhelming, running was the one thing that helped me stay grounded. It gave me peace when nothing else made sense.
Now that I’ve graduated college and stepped into the real world, running has become my way to relieve stress from work and daily life. It challenges me physically and mentally in ways I can’t even explain. It’s become something I look forward to every single day.
What started as just conditioning turned into a passion, a form of therapy, and the one constant through every phase of life. I truly believe more people should give it a try—you never know what it might become for you.
