Disneyland wants to expand the parks! I went to one of their public outreach sessions, and here's what I learned. The project is called DisneylandForward. This would take place over the next 30-40 years, not something they would start immediately. They need rezoning approval from Anaheim, just like when they built California Adventure. The Disneyland expansion would only be using existing land, they would not be buying anything new nor would they be asking for any money from Anaheim. They would build a new parking structure to make up for the parking lots they'd be removing (which is already approved).
