Want to thank @homeboyindustries for opening up their beautiful space to me this past Tuesday and collaborating with me in my second year of “Bashing Hunger”. Homeboy Industries helps the Los Angeles community greatly. They provide hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. This also involves feeding their community as well. “ Bashing Hunger” is a charitable initiative that focuses on combating food insecurity by increasing food rescue, raising money and awareness, as well as providing nutritional education. God is love and that is what Homeboy industries exemplifies in the LA community.
