Mirage of light’s abundant cyclical universe in wanderlust - This concept is as close to time travel as I could render with my displays of light poured over an abundance of flowers, shadow dipping into welcoming sunset. Each realm blends into the next as if in a time-honored ritualistic exploration of a flower unfolding in the light. I hadn’t quite extracted it fully from my mind until the wonderful team at @murilelu reached out a few months ago for their product launch, a clean beauty Mauvaise Herbe oil that, that in its essence, is full of bloom. I thought of how contents of the oil would exist when extrapolated into a film. How would they live, framed yet boundless? @murilelu Thank you for letting your #murimuse creators run with their imagination, and allow us to blossom in tandem with this little golden magical bottle, both 🌸🌸 #madebyflower. In this iteration I wanted to tie in my Chinese name, 晶, or brightness, usually anointed to describe the stars. In this film we celebrate the pillars of unity in diversity of the universe. Similar to how the galaxy beyond our atmosphere is punctuated with Time's glimmering collisions that bloom in a range of light and soon fade, flowers hold the same type of attainable, unique, diversified, and tangible beauty on earth. Each flower, like each star, is created differently and classified by family, yet exists in such a spectral display of a cyclical evolution - as each star explodes to allow its atoms to form into new stars, each flower's pollen flutters into new life.
