Family heirlooms set the tone for the expanded and redesigned Atelier and Studio of Danielle Frankel. In the 39th Street space directly across from her first Garment District factory, designer Danielle Frankel Hirsch collaborated with interior designer Augusta Hoffman and architect Corey Schneider to reimagine the customer experience. Hoffman interpreted Frankel Hirsch’s collection of mementoes in the Gallery anchored by a custom Pierre Augustin Rose sofa and Luke Todd marble coffee table, flanked by two Morentz lounge chairs in a tapestry textile. Frankel Hirsch’s collection of bridal and evening dresses hang on hand-carved wooden rails by Jason Pickens. Vessels by artists Akiko Hirai and Ludmila Balkis from Guild Gallery. Frankel Hirsch says, “I wanted our clients to feel like they were coming into our home and create a space where our team’s craftsmanship can be experienced.” Photo by Tim Lenz and styled by Mieke Ten Have.
