This time last year I bought a ✈️ ticket to LA and scratched an item off my bucket list: A private training with celebrity brow artist @kelleybakerbrows 💞 Kelley and I had a wonderful time chatting all things brows but what I walked away with was far more valuable than just brow shaping knowledge 👀 During our time together, Kelley mentioned something that I had always felt. She said “sometimes I don’t feel like I fit into the beauty industry” and in that moment I sensed she could read my thoughts 😳💭 What we see on social media is often times embellished. Living in a world where everyone shares the best parts of their life can leave you feeling like there’s no room for vulnerability and honesty. You fear being your authentic self could be met with judgement 🫣 My time with Kelley reminded me that it’s ok to be yourself because if you’re too busy trying to fit in, you will never ✨stand out ✨ Afterall, isn’t that what Dr. Seuss says were born to do? 🤭 So, thank you Kelley.
