Content reaction isn’t my full time job as I have a full time job that I love and fulfills me but it has been such a freaking blessing. Money transparency as a Latina content creator is super important. Even more so as someone who tries to exclusively work with sustainable, eco friendly brands, or brands that are really trying to make a conscious change. I know there’s a lot of money in fast fashion and bigger brands but not working with them has been a conscious decision I made two years ago. I’m new to making this kind of money. In 2018 I was only making $30k with my full time. I have been so lucky to finally been able to pay off my debts, move out on my own, help my family and finally get a reliable car. Let me tell you, having a full time job and doing content creation isn’t always the easiest especially as a procrastinator 😬 Also, content creation and being an Influencer was not something I was working toward, it happen by accident and now I’m sooo lucky to be sign to an agency that has helped me so much this year. Like I mentioned in the video, they take 20% of every brand deal I get and I think it’s worth it! I will say, I’m not the most literate when it comes to money and how to invest and all that stuff, I’ve messed up on my taxes before but I’m trying to be better and learn from those mistakes!
