🚇 @MrLondon & @Alice.Sampo testing the new #ElizabethLine from #LiverpoolStreet to #PaddingtonStation - it’s not a journey we make routinely because we live in the west. But we were intrigued how travel times have changed since the launch of the new line and we’re aware some of you won’t know about the new line! 💜🙌🏼 It took us 16 mins to go from the city to Paddington, and that’s not actually the quickest it can go. It can be done in just 10 minutes. 🤯 Ok it did cost tax payers £25 Billion for the entire scheme. But there’s 41 stations that now make up the new line. And importantly you can go from as far west as Reading in Berkshire, into central London, and from as far east as Shenfield in Brentwood into central. It also has fast connectivity to #HeathrowAirport. Pretty amazing. 🙌🏼 So next time you visit London, look for the line on all our updated tube maps! 🙌🏼 Oh and do enjoy all the new tunnels and architecture!
