One amazing @nkseeds_us corn crop, two different ways to feed it to cows! On the left is our ground @nkseeds_us corn. When the corn is grinded, it makes it so the cows are able to gain more nutrients and starches from the corn compared to whole corn! On the right is our TMR mix that we feed to the cows, and you can see the corn SILAGE in this pile. Corn silage is the rest of the corn plant, aka the leaves, stalk, all of it! We mix a bunch of things into the TMR (including the ground corn), that makes it so the cows have a nutritious meal with every bite! It’s pretty amazing that cows are able to take an entire corn stalk and turn it into milk for humans to enjoy!
