I have spent the past few years trying different products and exploring this whole world through the lens of menstruation 🩸
I’m still learning daily and with each cycle, but these are some things I look for when purchasing period products:
-Quality of the product- I purchase my period products not only to take care of my bleed, but to give myself the confidence of not leaking or bleeding through
-Location as to where it is produced- I prefer options that are produced or grown in Europe as they have much stricter guidelines compared the US on how the cotton itself is treated, dyed, handled, etc.
-Quality of the brand- I prefer my period products to be made by people who use them. I also look into how they prioritize sustainability as much as I can
Things I look for on the label:
“pesticide free” “fragrance-free” “harmful chemical free” “ethically sourced cotton” “hypoallergenic” “100% organic cotton” “dye-free”
@itsaugust has worked well for me, but I hope you find products that work for you đź’–(not sponsored)
Take care of your girl down there🩸✨
